Starting Over

We are excited to announce that we are now in the process of starting over with adoption paperwork!!! Yes, we have been matched with a 15 month old little princess! When we were adopting Isaac he was on the website Reecesrainbow.org and with their help we received a grant to help with adoption costs in the amount of $1200. This Christmas we wanted to donate to the Angel Tree program to help another Reeces Rainbow child find their family. We found and donated to Leandra. After donating I received an email from someone advocating for a child named Leanne, we were given her adoption information and photos and it was the same child. Since our adoption with Isaac has been so good and we have been so blessed having him in our family when we found this little girl we just could not resist. We sent in an application to the agency, they sent it to country and now we have a PA (pre-authorization) to adopt and move forward with her. We are now in the process of another home study and hope to have it completed soon.

Updates

Well, Isaac sure did enjoy his holidays! We celebrated Halloween, Isaac was the cutest lion you ever seen and he trick-or-treated with his niece.

For Thanksgiving we had grandma, grandpa and all Isaacs siblings over for dinner. Food was yummy, company was perfect and games were fun. The weekend after Thanksgiving our family went down south to cut Christmas trees. Isaac loved riding the 4 wheelers and playing in the snow. December was very busy with Festival of Trees, baking, decorating, shopping, Temple Square and making gingerbread houses.

Isaac was too tired and didn't quite make it until midnight. We woke him up but it just made him cranky. Now we are looking forward to a very eventful 2014!!!!!
